EMD Millipore's architecture team needed to update the look of the corporate headquarters. The creative department was approached with the challenge, and I was chosen as the designer to take on the task of branding the building's common areas.
The process began with myself and the art director touring the areas in question and taking a lot of photos. I would then go into Photoshop and rough out the look. After several rounds of review, I would send the final layouts to the vendor. I then worked with the vendor to ensure that the art met the standards needed to be successful.
The new look for our building met with rave reviews from both customers and employees. As a result, the look was rolled out worldwide.
